STUDENTS will be able to get to lectures more often after services on a busy bus route have been increased.

Nottingham City Transport's Go2 Uni 4 service will now run every seven minutes in the daytime from Monday to Friday.

It has been increased from every ten minutes due to demand from Nottingham Trent University Students' Union.

Extra buses will run between 8am and 9am toward Clifton Campus and more services will be put on between 4pm and 5pm to try and get students back before rush hour.

Josh Eloi, vice president of the students' union, said: "We're really glad NCT has listened to students and the union by putting on more buses at peak times. With increased demand for transport it's good to see that students can get to Clifton Campus for 9am lectures."
