Burton Joyce: Police are trying to trace a door to door salesman who appears to have been targeting elderly residents in the area.
The man is white and told people his name was Steve when knocking on doors throughout last week.
The force said it may well be innocent but they want to speak with the man to make sure.

Beeston: Off-road bikes have been causing a nuisance to residents in the area.
Police received reports on Wednesday about the vehicles being driven in both the Rylands and the Endsleigh Gardens area of Beeston.
Rampton: Nottinghamshire Police are looking to trace the rightful owners of more than 30 stolen power tools which have been recovered by officers following two burglaries.
The incidents took place in Church Laneham and at Laneham Street on Friday, August 19, and Monday, August 22, respectively.
A 41-year-old man from Carlton-in-Lindrick has been charged with two counts of burglary in connection with the incidents.
Officers seized over 30 items from the man's home. Some were identified and returned to the victims, while a number of items stolen in similar burglaries had been packaged and were being prepared to sell online.
Kinoulton: Two people have been arrested after a caravan was stolen.
The theft happened between 5pm on Monday and 7am on Tuesday morning from a house in Hickling Lane.
Despite making the arrests, police are still seeking witnesses to the crime and asking if any local residents have CCTV that may have captured the crime.
Cromwell: An overturned vehicle caused delays on the A1 northbound at Cromwell yesterday afternoon.
An agricultural vehicle with a trailer collided with a car between the junctions with the A46 and the A638.
It is unknown which one overturned.
Police were called to the scene at just after 3pm, and closed one lane.
There were delays of up to ten minutes for a couple of hours.
A man was treated at the scene by paramedics.
His injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.
