Nuthall: Ashlee Munn, 25, of Kenton Avenue, denied assaulting a female in Kimberley on August 10. Magistrates in Nottingham bailed him to attend his trial on October 1.
Stanley Common: Steve Burke, 32, of Spencer Street, Stanley Common, pleaded guilty to theft. He stole assorted clothes, valued at £68, from Asda, Priestic Road, Sutton-in-Ashfield, on July 12. He is on bail to attend Mansfield Magistrates' Court on September 30 at 10.15am.
Rainworth: A 17-year-old girl has been granted bail after she was accused of theft. She denied stealing a mobile phone and bank card, valued at £160, from an address in Rainworth on April 3. The girl, who is from Mansfield but cannot be named due to her age, will have a trial at Mansfield Magistrates' Court on November 11 at 2pm.
Carlton: Mohammed Arif, 32, of Second Avenue, Carlton, was found guilty of using a Toyota without insurance in Carlton Hill, Carlton, on November 11 last year. Magistrates in Mansfield found him guilty in his absence and fined him £600. He was ordered to pay a £60 victim surcharge, costs of £85 and was banned for 12 months.
Mansfield: Darren Timson, 37, of Chesterfield Road South, Mansfield, stole Tennent's lager, seven packs of cheese and seven Cadbury's chocolate bars. He pleaded guilty to stealing the cheese and lager from One Stop Shop, Mansfield, on August 1, and the chocolate from Poundland, Mansfield, on August 11. JPs gave him a community order with a requirement to go into drug rehabilitation. Timson's progress will be reviewed every five weeks for six months. His first review is on October 23 at 10am. He was ordered to pay £27 compensation.
Mansfield: Dale Thorpe, 37, of Victoria Street, Mansfield, pleaded guilty to drink-driving. He was behind the wheel of a silver Kia in Nottingham Road, Mansfield, when he was caught on August 22. When tested, he had 90 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, over the limit of 35. Magistrates in Mansfield handed Thorpe a community order with an eight-week curfew from 8pm until 7am, and tagging. He was ordered to pay a £60 victim surcharge and costs of £85. He was disqualified from driving for two years. No separate penalty was imposed after he admitted the Kia was uninsured and he had no licence to drive it.
