AN inquest into the death of a former associate of Nottingham crime lord Colin Gunn has opened.
Kevin Warsop, of Raymede Drive, Bestwood, died at his home on July 26, aged 45.
Yesterday at Nottingham Coroners' Court, assistant coroner Timothy Connery said the result of a post-mortem examination showed Mr Warsop died of aspiration of gastric contents and ethanol intoxication. The inquest was adjourned until November 26.
Mr Warsop was jailed after admitting his role in co-defendant Gunn's police corruption conspiracy case.
