NOTTS County have confirmed the signing of midfielder Elliott Whitehouse, following a successful trial.
The 20-year-old has been with the Magpies squad since the start of pre-season, after leaving Sheffield United, and has scored three goals whilst putting in some sterling performances.
Manager Shaun Derry has been suitably impressed, and rewarded him with a one-year contract.
Whitehouse, who spent last term on loan at York City and Alfreton Town, will wear the number 26 shirt for Notts this season.
The Magpies kick off their League One campaign against Preston North End, at Deepdale on Saturday.
