THE "outstanding contribution" of a Nottinghamshire nurse has been recognised with a nomination for a national healthcare award.
Bev Jordan, 52, a critical care nurse at BMI Park Hospital in Arnold, has reached the final of the Lang Buisson Independent Healthcare Awards' Nursing Practice category.
The awards recognise outstanding quality and innovation in the independent healthcare sector.
Bev said: "I was delighted to hear I'm in with a chance but, to be honest, I just love the job and that's reward enough."
The winner will be revealed at an awards Dinner on October 7.
