A NOTTINGHAMSHIRE company, which traded as a day nursery, has been publicly shamed for failing to pay two of its workers.
KIG (Nottm) Ltd, trading as Little Bears Day Nursery in First Avenue, Carlton, is among 25 firms which have been named by the government for neglecting to pay workers.
In total, 55 firms have been exposed since the naming scheme was introduced in October 2013.
Those exposed have been charged £74,000 between them.
KIG was found to have neglected to pay £9,298.86 to two of its employees.
The 25 cases named were investigated by HM Revenue & Customs after workers made complaints to the Pay and Work Rights Helpline.

Business Minister Jo Swinson said: "Paying less than the minimum wage is wrong and illegal.
"Employers need to know that they will face tough consequences if they break the law.
"All workers are entitled to the minimum wage.
"This isn't a generous gesture, this is the law.
"Government takes the enforcement of workers' rights seriously and those who don't pay will be named, shamed and fined.
"If anyone suspects they are not being paid the wage they are legally entitled to, they can call the Pay and Work Rights Helpline on 0800 917 2368 for free and confidential advice and to make a complaint."
