NETMINDER Mattias Modig has left the Nottingham Panthers.
Modig has flown home to Sweden after the return from injury of regular goaltender Craig Kowalski.
The move was expected with Modig only signing for three weeks, which have now elapsed.
The former Lulea man enjoyed a brief but successful stint in Nottingham, winning the Elite League player of the week in his first week with the club.
He played in six games, winning three for his team.
