Mick McCarthy: Having turned down the Nottingham Forest job just a few weeks after the club had been taken over by the Al Hasawi family, the former Wolves manager instead ended up at Portman Road in November 2012.
Having guided the club away from relegation that season, he followed up with a ninth-placed finish back in May. McCarthy has steadily put together a solid squad at Ipswich, one that could be a decent bet to secure a play-off place this season.
McCarthy, who has also had spells in charge of Ireland and Sunderland, is known for his straight talking in post-match interviews.
But he has had little to be frustrated with amid a positive start to the campaign for the Tractor Boys who, prior to today's games, are fifth in the Championship table.
