Q What was the most memorable fight of your career and why?

A When I won the WBC world title from Jean Pascal in 2008. One, because it was my first world title and I won it in Nottingham, my home town. Secondly, I think the WBC is the best of the four boxing belts to have at world champion level. I've been champion of three but WBC is the most prestigious. Some of the biggest names that have ever boxed have held that title, like Muhammad Ali, Mike Tyson and Sugar Ray Leonard.

Q Your nickname – The Cobra. Can you explain? And have you ever been compared to any other animals?

A There's absolutely nothing behind it. I've had people say it's because I'm a dangerous beast and ask me whether it's because of my long reach, but all that's rubbish. My coach Robert McCracken just came up with it when we were in a restaurant. Don Curry used to be called the cobra and he liked it.

Q Where do you think is the best place to eat in Nottingham?

A I've got two favourites. Savai's in the Lace Market and Dino's, off Fletcher Gate. They're both Italians. I can get pasta or brown rice when I need energy or good-quality chicken or steak when I need my protein. Food is about common sense but I have to be careful so I can lose weight for fights.
