NOTTINGHAM Forest's Capital One Cup showdown with Premier League big guns Tottenham Hotspur will be shown live on television.
The third round tie at White Hart Lane is to be broadcast on Sky Sports.
The game, which will pit Reds boss Stuart Pearce against the side he had several memorable cup clashes with as a Forest player, is to be played on Wednesday September 24 (7.45pm).
Forest beat Huddersfield 2-0 on Tuesday night to secure their place in the next round, having previously edged out Tranmere 1-0.
Pearce said today that he expects the tie to be a 'difficult' challenge, but one that his side should look forward to.
"It is a tough tie at this stage. Having been through a few rounds you do expect to get tougher opposition," he said.
"But this will be an incredible test for us, that is for sure. It is one we look forward to."
