NOTTINGHAM Forest will travel to Premier League Tottenham in the third round of the Capital One Cup.
The four-times winners will travel to White Hart Lane in the week commencing September 22 after beating Huddersfield Town 2-0 away in the second round.
The last time the two teams met was in the FA Cup in 2005 when the Reds took Spurs to a replay before losing at the City Ground.
Forest have beaten Tottenham three times out of their six meetings in this competition – like in the 1992 semi-finals when winning over two legs to reach the final, where they lost to Manchester United.
The tie is also a repeat of the 1991 FA Cup final, in which Reds boss Stuart Pearce scored the opener in the 2-1 defeat.
