I actually wore this outfit on holiday a couple of weeks ago which is why the background doesn't look too Nottingham like (and not cloudy). I'm wearing my favourite lace swing top from Urban Outfitters, which I wear with absolutely everything, it's so lightweight and loose fitting but still smart and decorative. I wore it with my high waisted denim skirt and black bag from Topshop.
My personal style is pretty casual, but I occasionally pick a statement piece, such as a bag or a pair of shoes. I don't really follow trends, I like to pick styles and add a personal touch.
It totally depends on how I feel too, I'd happily wear my black skinny jeans with my vans most days but would also spend everyday in a smock dress if I could – anything oversized!
I love going online, such as Pinterest, and strolling through their street style blogs for inspiration, nothing beats just seeing how people style clothes for everyday. I do like to follow catwalk styles and celebrity fashion as well though.
