NOTTINGHAM branch of the National Association of Fine and Decorative Arts (Nadfas) is sponsoring three workshops for Lenton-based charity The Ear Foundation.
Funded through the Nadfas Youth Arts Programme, which finances projects for young artists, the second workshop took place at an Ear Foundation residential camp in Boston Spa, West Yorkshire.
The foundation supports cochlear implants for children who are born deaf and those who have become deaf.
The Nadfas-sponsored workshops are designed to increase deaf young people's confidence, promote self-esteem and foster an enjoyment of art.
The workshop was visited by Nottingham Nadfas chairman Patsy Bennett and branch young arts representative Sue Punt.
