TRAFFIC is to be banned from the centre of Hucknall later this month for a fun day to be held.
Live music, craft stalls and children's activities will take over on August 23 as the High Street is shut between Baker Street and Watnall Road.
The idea behind the day is to give people a feel of how things will be once the current improvement scheme has been completed and the road is pedestrianised.
The Hucknall Town Centre Improvement Scheme is estimated to cost £12.4 million and is set to be completed by 2016.
