A man arrested in connection with an assault in Bulwell has been bailed pending further inquiries.
The 25-year-old was detained on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.
It came after a 45-year-old man was found injured in Commercial Road at about 6.15pm on Friday.
He was taken to hospital, where he remains in a stable condition.
